Ms. Chenoa’s classes are special! The way i see my 9 y/o eagerly looking forward to her Handwork classes, slowly but surely building on her skills week by week & then at the end if a 10 week class, transformed in more than one way after learning that specific skill - it is truly amazing ✨

When we first started taking classes with Ms. Chenoa, I couldn’t begin to imagine what an impact she would have on our lives. Her ability to teach handwork online is nothing short of magical. She is kind, calm, and patient always. She knows just what to say to help her students understand what to do, no matter their age and ability level. Handwork class time is highly anticipated in our house, and we join class even when we are on vacation! Ms. Chenoa has brought so many skills into our lives that we would not have accessed in the same way if it weren’t for her. She has nurtured in each of us not only the ability to create useful things with our own hands, but also patience, persistence, and perseverance. She helps my children (and me!) to keep going when frustrated by guiding and holding gentle space while they struggle, and she celebrates every success right along with them. Ms. Chenoa’s handwork classes are really life skills classes at their core, and it has been a joy to be on this journey with her.

Chenoa is a true teacher, because of her skills, vocation and the passion she puts into her classes. In less than a year of online teaching, I have learned a lot, various techniques, knitting, weaving, felting, crosstitch, making dolls, and other techniques like "ojo de dios", dreamcatchers, etc...Her classes can contain people of different levels, but she adapts to each one without problems, responds quickly, values what you do, and has a lot of patience to explain things until you have learned it. Also highlight her commitment to Waldorf pedagogy, of which she is a living example, and her good taste in everything she does. Her treatment is respectful and very kind. Peaceful place to learn and enjoy!

We found Miss Chenoa’s handwork courses three years ago at a time that we only knew how to finger knit. In our area there aren’t many options for children’s knitting classes and I was so worried that my kids wouldn’t get to progress in their handwork skills. My children have now created everything from weavings to animals to socks and consistently amaze people in our community with their finished creations! Chenoa’s offerings have been such a blessing to us all!

Chenoa has helped my daughters and I on our handwork journey for nearly a year now.
Her classes are always a delight to take. She is always patient welcoming and present. Her guidance in these classes have allowed my children’s confidence to flourish. Though her offerings are online, she creates a sense of community that is unrivaled by any other online experiences we’ve had.

I have just finished module 1 of Peace With Nature Handwork Course for teacher training with Chenoa and have loved every moment of it. Chenoa has been very generous with her time and this module has been put together very thoughtfully. The combination of 3 day intensive and weekly sessions have been wonderful and the mix of practical work and looking at Steiner's work in relation to education and handwork has been insightful. Thank you, Chenoa. I'm looking forward to Module 2.

Chenoa is a wonderful teacher and it’s clear how much she loves what she does. Her classes are challenging, fun and engaging and my children and I look forward to them every week. She works hard to build a connection with each of her students and she is incredibly patient and present. Her projects flow thoughtfully from one thing to the next as you develop the skills you need and they’re really fun to do. Truthfully we love Chenoa’s classes so much that we put her into our schedule first and work everything else around them. As a homeschooling mom of young children I have, at times, felt lost in the midst of chaos. Handwork is like a gift I give to myself that centers me and brings me so much peace and purpose. I am so grateful to Chenoa for sharing her craft with us and for bringing a love of handwork to my children. We have been continually amazed at what we are able to create with her as our guide.

I am a Waldorf-based homeschooling mother who has found it challenging to gain expertise in all the subjects I want to teach my children—especially handwork! I was at my wit's end, trying to figure out how my children would learn this important topic. I came across Ms. Chenoa's work on instagram and I was instantly impressed with its beauty and warmth. But, I knew that the Waldorf pedagogy discourages screentime so I hesitated to inquire about her lessons. I was skeptical. I shouldn't have been!
Ms. Chenoa has created a warm, magical and sweet environment that permeates our home whenever my daughter logs on for her classes. The children interact with each other and get to know one another. Ms. Chenoa is able to reach through the technology to create a feeling of "hands on" learning, and my daughter has learned so much.
I may be so bold as to say that Ms. Chenoa thaws the cold Ahrimanic technology with her warmth, love and deep understanding of Waldorf handwork, sharing this important subject to children who would otherwise never be able to learn it.
